What does 'Mail Resent' mean in postal mailing?

When sending 1099/W-2 forms to recipients, the initial mailing process may encounter delivery issues due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we make another attempt to send the forms. The status 'Mail Resent' appears after the initial delivery attempt has failed, indicating that the mailing has been reprocessed and another attempt has been made to ensure successful delivery to the recipient.
