You have the option to opt-in to postal mailing services for recipient copies after transmitting forms. By opting in, TaxBandits will print and mail your recipient copies on your behalf.
Here we have taken Form 1099 as an example; this process applies to all form series.
Follow these instructions to enable postal mailing for your recipients:
- Sign in to your TaxBandits account.
- From the dashboard, click Distribution Center.
- Use filters to select the Tax year, Form type, Business Name, and form distribution status. Once selected, click "Go". The businesses in your account will be displayed based on the filters you applied.
- Select Postal Mail next to the business.
- Select the employees for whom you want to enable Postal Mail and click Create Postal Order.
- Finally, review and complete your order using your credit card or prepaid credits. Postal Mailing will be enabled for the selected employees/recipients. However, please note that TaxBandits will only mail recipient copies to U.S. addresses when you opt-in to Postal Mailing.
