I forgot to enable online access for W-2/1099 forms when filing, can I enable it now?

Yes, you can enable online access for 1099/W-2 even after transmitting them to the IRS/SSA. However, please remember that to enable online access, the recipient/employee must have an email address. 

To enable Online Access after transmitting tax forms to IRS/SSA, follow the steps below:

Step 1: From the dashboard, navigate to ‘Online Access’ menu.


 

Step 2:  Click ‘View Forms’ next to the payer for whom you need to enable online access for the recipient/employee.


 

Step 3: All the recipients under the payer will be displayed. Select the recipients/employees you want to enable online access and click ‘Enable Online Access’


 

Step 4: Complete your payment to enable online access for the recipients/employees.
