Who is required to file BOI with FinCEN?

According to the FinCEN:

• Foreign entities that are registered to do business in the U.S. and meet the definition of a "reporting company" are required to file BOI reports.

• U.S. companies and individuals are no longer required to file BOI. The rule exempts domestic entities (previously known as "domestic reporting companies") from this reporting requirement.
