Is it possible to e-file the extension of time to file form W-2?

You can fill out form 8809 Extension of time to file 1099-NEC & W-2, and it is your responsibility to print and mail the generated Form 8809 to the IRS. TaxBandits will only provide the PDF for printing, and we will NOT file the form with the IRS.

Please note since the deadline to file an extension for Form 1099-NEC and Form W-2 has passed, you cannot file the extension now.
