How do I edit a staff member’s role?

If you have given your staff members access to your Tax Professionals account, you can assign them specific roles. You can edit these roles as needed 

If you want to edit the role assigned to a staff member, follow the steps below: 

  • Sign in to your TaxBandits account
  • From the dashboard, select the Grid menu>> Manage Staff.
  • Under the Roles Assigned or Action column, click the “Edit” icon beside the staff member to change their assigned role.

  • Depending on the Role System you’ve set up, you can adjust the roles of your staff members. For example, if your account is set to the Two-Role System, you can switch the roles back and forth between Preparer and Approver. 

 

  • You also have the option to make staff members a Co-Admin. To do this, select either Yes or No under the Co-Admin dropdown. If you choose to make the staff member a Co-Admin, they will have access to do everything that the admin can in the account with the exception of adding additional Co-Admins to the account. 
  • Assigning your staff members' roles within your TaxBandits account is a great way to optimize your workflow and manage your clients’ filing efficiently.
