If I don’t have changes in schedule A, Should I need to attach it while filing Form 940 Amendment?

Yes, if you have attached sch A in the previously filed form 940, you must attach Schedule A along with Form 940 Amendment even though you did not have any changes in Schedule A.

How to add Schedule A information?

If you’re a multi-state employer (operating in more than one state), check the box on line 1b in Form 940 Amendment. Then fill out Schedule A (Form 940 Amendment) and attach it to your Form 940 Amendment. If there are credit reduction states and If you paid wages subject to the unemployment tax laws of these states, check the box on line 2 in Form 940 Amendment and fill out Schedule A (Form 940 Amendment).
