How to enable postal mailing services after transmitting forms?

You have the option to opt in to postal mailing services for recipient copies after transmitting forms. By opting in, TaxBandits will print and mail your recipient copies on your behalf.

Here, we have taken Form 1099 as an example. This process applies to all form series. 

TaxBandits allows you to download form copies with masked TINs, which adds an extra level of security for the recipient.

Note: The steps below are applicable to all forms. 

Follow these instructions to mask TINs in form copies: 

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: From the dashboard, navigate to the ‘Postal Mailing’ menu.

 

Step 3: Select the business and required forms, and click ‘Enable Postal Mailing’.

 

Step 4:  Click ‘Continue’ corresponding to your preferred mailing option.

 

Step 5:  View the summary and click ‘Proceed to Checkout’.

 

Once completed, postal mailing will be enabled, and we will print and send copies to the recipient on your behalf.
