How to bulk upload my 1095 form data?

To bulk e-file your Form 1095-C on TaxBandits, follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.
  • Step 2: Click ‘Start New Form' on the ACA dashboard and choose ‘1094-C & 1095-C’.


 

  • Step 3: Select ‘Form 1094-C & 1095-C’ to e-file for the current tax year, or choose to file for up to two previous tax years. 


 

  • Step 4: Click ‘Add New Employer’ to enter employer details. If the employer details are already in the address book, select ‘Select Employer From Address Book’ to retrieve the information.


 

  • Step 5: On the bulk import page, you can download the template, fill it out with your data, and upload the completed Excel file to proceed.

 

  • Step 6: Preview the records from your uploaded file, then click ‘Continue to Process.’


 

  • Step 7: On the next page, the forms ready for filing will be listed. You can view and edit each form, as well as delete an employee in the ‘Actions’ column. If any errors are found, you can address them in the ‘Errors’ tab, export the list to fix the errors, and upload the corrected file back.


 

  • Step 8: In the federal filing tab, all employee details will be displayed. Here, you can edit email addresses, view and edit forms, delete employees, and generate draft copies of the 1095-C. You can also access the 1094-C form. Then, click ‘Continue to State’ to view your state information.
    Note: Not all states require filing copies with the state. Certain states, including CA, DC, MA, NJ, and RI, require employers to e-file copies of their employees' Form 1095 with the state agency.


 

  • Step 9: Select the type of form you want to be distributed, and continue. TaxBandits provides you with four options to send recipient copies:
    • BanditComplete - Provides both postal mailing and online access for recipients.
    • Postal Mailing - Prints and delivers copies of the form via postal mail.
    • Online Access - Allows recipients to access a secure online portal to view and download copies of their forms. 
    • Print & Mail - After transmitting, you can download copies from the "Distribution Center," print them yourself, and mail them to the recipients.


 

  • Step 10: Review the form summary and click ‘Proceed to Checkout.’


 

  • Step 11: Check your order details, including the fee, and click ‘Complete Your Order.’


 

  • Step 12: Enter your card details, then click ‘Pay and Transmit.’ Your payment will be successfully processed.


 

After transmitting your return, you will receive a status update via email. You can also log in to your TaxBandits account to check the status of your return.
