To bulk e-file your Form 1095-C on TaxBandits, follow these simple steps:
- Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.
- Step 2: Click ‘Start New Form’ on the ACA dashboard and choose ‘1094-C & 1095-C’.
- Step 3: Select ‘Form 1094-C & 1095-C’ to e-file for the current tax year, or choose to file for up to two previous tax years.
- Step 4: Click ‘Add New Employer’ to enter employer details. If the employer details are already in the address book, select ‘Select Employer From Address Book’ to retrieve the information.
- Step 5: Enter the total number of forms you plan to file for the tax year and choose your preferred transmission method. Also, specify how you want to transmit your 1095-C forms, either as multiple returns or as a single return. Then, click ‘Continue to Form 1095-C.’
- Step 6: Click ‘Add New Employee’ to enter employee details. If the employee details are already in the address book, select ‘Select Employee From Address Book’ to retrieve the information. Then, enter the employee's offer of coverage.
- Step 7: On the next page, click ‘Complete Form 1094-C,’ the transmittal form submitted along with the 1095-C forms. Based on whether you transmit your 1095-C as multiple returns or as a single return, you must mark the 'Authoritative Transmittal' accordingly.
- Step 8: Complete the ALE member details and ALE member information on page 1.
- Step 9: On page 2, enter the details of the coverage offered, full-time employee count, and total employee count for the ALE member.
- Step 10: On page 3, enter the information for other ALE members in the aggregated ALE group. You can also retrieve the details from the address book by clicking ‘Select Employer From Address Book.’
- Step 11: Once you have completed Form 1094-C, click ‘Continue to State’ to view your state information.
Note: Not all states require filing copies with the state. Certain states, including CA, DC, MA, NJ, and RI, require employers to e-file copies of their employees' Form 1095 with the state agency.
- Step 12: Select the type of form you want to be distributed, and continue.

- Postal Mailing - Prints and delivers copies of the form via postal mail.
- Online Access - Allows recipients to access a secure online portal to view and download copies of their forms.
- Print & Mail - After transmitting, you can download copies from the "Distribution Center," print them yourself, and mail them to the recipients.
- Step 13: Review the form summary and click ‘Proceed to Checkout.’
- Step 14: Check your order details, including the fee, and click ‘Complete Your Order.’
- Step 15: Enter your card details, then click ‘Pay and Transmit.’ Your payment will be successfully processed.
After transmitting your return, you will receive a status update via email. You can also log in to your TaxBandits account to check the status of your return.
