How to pay my Arizona withholding tax dues?

You can pay your Arizona withholding tax dues directly to the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) using one of the approved payment methods. Most employers choose electronic payments because they are faster and easier to track.

Available payment options include:

1. AZTaxes.gov (Online Payment)

This is the most common and recommended method.
You can:

  • Make a one-time payment

  • Schedule payments

  • View your payment history

You will need your Withholding Tax Account Number and EIN to complete the payment.

2. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Businesses that prefer direct bank transfers can use EFT. This is typically used by larger employers or those required to make electronic payments.

3. Paper Check or Money Order (Mail)

You may mail your payment with the appropriate payment voucher, but this method:

  • Takes longer to process

  • Increases the risk of late posting

Electronic payment is strongly encouraged to avoid delays.

Important: Your payment schedule (monthly, semiweekly, or quarterly) is assigned by ADOR. Make sure you follow your required frequency to avoid penalties.
