Make sure the summary clearly shows the following: Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) Your business or individual name associated with the EFIN A Provider Option Status of 'Active' How to download your IRS e-file Application Summary To download a copy of your e-file Application Summary (needed for EFIN verification), follow these steps: Visit the IRS e-file provider services page.
