Have questions? We've got you covered! Can I still file 1099 forms if my recipient addresses don't pass USPS validation?
Yes, you can still file 1099/W-2 forms with the originally reported addresses. However, it is recommended to use a USPS-validated address as using an incorrect address might cause delivery issues if you've enabled postal mailing for recipient copy delivery.
Note: Even if the forms are transmitted with incorrect recipient address, the IRS/SSA doesn't require you to file a correction.
