Can I edit the forms that I’ve submitted?

Yes you an edit the forms after submitting it if you have scheduled the forms. If the form is submitted without scheduling it cannot be edited. 

If you have scheduled the forms for transmission:

• You can edit the forms until 10 PM ET, the day before the scheduled date.

If you have not scheduled the forms for transmission:

• Forms are mostly transmitted the same day the order was placed. In this case, you will typically have 4-8 hours from the submission time to make edits.

Note: This timeframe may reduce significantly during peak deadlines.

If you’re unable to edit the forms, you can file a correction once the IRS/SSA accepts the forms.
