How to schedule my federal tax payments in TaxBandits?

You can easily schedule your EFTPS (Electronic Federal Tax Payment System) payments through your TaxBandits account. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account. Navigate to EFTPS from the top menu. If you’re making a payment for the first time, you must complete a registration. It will take up to 24-48 hours for processing. Learn more about EFTPS registration.

If you’ve already registered, you can click on ‘Make Payment’ next to the business you want to pay for.


Step 2: Select the form type and payment type, then enter the required tax payment details in the respective fields. Choose the date you want the tax payment to be debited and schedule it.

Note: You must schedule the payment date at least 24 hours after registration to allow time for processing. 



Step 3: TaxBandits charges a small service fee for EFTPS payments. Select the pricing option that best fits your business needs. 

  • Pay as You Go – Recommended for businesses that make occasional federal tax payments.
  • Annual Subscription – Recommended for businesses that need to make frequent federal tax payments


Step 4: Review your details and complete your order. The IRS will automatically withdraw the payment from your bank account on the date you selected. Ensure that your bank account has sufficient funds on the scheduled date.
