How do you enable automatic email reminders for clients in BanditConnect through TaxBandits?

With TaxBandits, you can set up automatic email reminders to your clients to remind them about reporting updates or changes in beneficial ownership or approaching reporting deadlines via BanditConnect. Please note that this feature is available only in the ‘Super Bandito Subscription’.

Note: Before setting up these reminders, ensure that you enable the BanditConnect (Client Management) portal. To learn more about enabling and customizing the BanditConnect portal, Click here.

Follow these simple steps to schedule the email reminders:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Reminders’ tab on the BOIR Dashboard.



Step 3: Under the Reminders tab, you will find the FinCEN Compliance Reminders with two distinct types of reminders, each serving its own purpose:

• Business Update Report Reminder: Set up automatic email notifications to your clients periodically to check for any updates or changes in their business that may require them to file an updated BOI report.
• Deadline Reminder: Schedule automatic reminders to be sent to clients when the deadline for their initial BOI Report is approaching.

You can select one of these options based on your preference.



Step 4: To enable this feature, you must purchase the Super-Bandito package. If you have an active Bandito package, the amount will be adjusted based on your previous package. 



After completing the purchase, click the ‘Continue to Set Reminder’ button to proceed.



Step 5: Here, you can:

In Business Update Reminder:

• Set how often the email should be sent to clients (monthly or quarterly).
• Customize recipients to include or exclude from the email notifications.

In Deadline Reminder:

• Set reminders for admin and staff members.
• Preview the email template.

After setting the reminders, click the ‘Save’ button.

Step 6: Once email notifications are enabled, you can edit the reminder date at any time if needed.
