When is the deadline to file Form 1042?

The deadline for filing Form 1042 with the IRS for the 2023 tax year is March 15, 2024. Failure to file Form 1042 by the deadline or to request an extension may result in penalties.

Note: If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, it will be the next business day.
