Will the state provide a confirmation number for my W-2s?

You will receive the confirmation number based on the state you select  while e-filing Form W-2.

States that provide confirmation number:

Alabama (AL), Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Delaware (DE), District of Columbia (DC), Georgia (GA), Indiana (IN), Iowa (IA), Kansas (KS), Massachusetts (MA), Minnesota (MN), Mississippi (MS), Montana (MT), New Mexico (NM), North Carolina (NC), North Dakota (ND), Oklahoma (OK), Oregon (OR), South Carolina (SC), Utah (UT), Vermont (VT), West Virginia (WV) and Wisconsin (WI).

States that do not provide confirmation number:

Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Kentucky (KY), Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), Rhode Island (RI), and Virginia (VA).
