Do I need to file Form 1096/W-3 when e-filing with TaxBandits?

When you e-file your 1099s and W-2s, you don’t have to prepare 1096 and W-3 forms separately, as TaxBandits will auto-generate them. Follow the steps below to access your copy of Form 1096 and W-3:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Print Forms' tab from the Dashboard.

Step 3: The list of payers will be displayed. Under the ‘Summary Form’ column, select ‘1096/W-3’ for the payer you want to download.

Step 4: A pop-up will appear. Under ‘Action,’ click the download symbol next to the form to download the summary form.

Your summary form will then be successfully downloaded.
