Do I need to file Form 1096/W-3 when e-filing with TaxBandits?

When you e-file your 1099s and W-2s, you don’t have to prepare 1096 and W-3 forms separately, as TaxBandits will auto-generate them. Follow the steps below to access your copy of Form 1096 and W-3:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: From the Dashboard, navigate to the ‘Print and Distribute’.

Step 3: Under the ‘Print Forms’ tab, select the payer for whom you need to download the summary.

Step 4: Click ‘Download 1096/W-3’ next to the relevant payer.

Step 5: A pop-up will appear. Under ‘Action’, click the download icon to download the summary form.

Your summary form will then be successfully downloaded.
