How to file your updated BOI report with TaxBandits?

If you need to update the BOI report you submitted, such as adding, removing, or changing the details of the beneficial owner or reporting company, please follow these steps. 

Step 1: Log in to your TaxBandits account. 

Step 2: Click "Start BOI Report" from the home dashboard. 

Step 3: Enter your company's legal name in the field and click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 4: Select "Update Prior Report" and click "Save and Continue".

Step 5: Update the details of your reporting company, such as name and EIN. Ensure the updated details are in the respective fields and click "Save and Continue".

Step 6: Any corrections about company applicants' details don't need to be reported in the update report, so simply click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 7: Update your beneficial owner's details by clicking on "Add Beneficial Owners".

Step 8: Select the following option:

• Add Manually - By choosing this option you can enter the correct information of the beneficial owner manually 
• Select from Address Book- Choose the beneficial owner from the address book.
• Invite Beneficial Owner - Send a secure link to the beneficial owners via mail. To learn more about this, Click here.

Enter the details as per your option, and then click the “Save and Continue” option.

Step 9: The company can have a maximum number of beneficial owners, so you have the option to add another beneficial owner by selecting "Add beneficial owner" .

View the updated details of your beneficial owners and click "Continue". 

Step 10: View the summary of your entire updated BOI report. You can view, add, or remove the entered information. Ensure all the details are correct and click "Continue to Pay & Submit Now".

 

Step 11: Select your packages according to your business needs and click "Proceed to Payment". 

Enter the card details and submitter information. After filling out the details, click "Pay & Submit" for payment processing.

 

Once successfully submitted, TaxBandits sends an email regarding the status of your updated BOI report. You also have the option to download your report copy from the TaxBandits BOI Reporting Dashboard by clicking the “Download Order Receipt”.
