[Error code: 1095B-046-02] How do I resolve it?

Rejection Message:

If the field "Name of covered individual(s)" has a value, and the corresponding check box "Months of Coverage" is not checked for months ranging from January to December, then the corresponding "Covered for all 12 months" must be checked.

What does it mean:

As long as you have entered "Names of covered individuals" in part IV of Form 1095B, you must at least check the "Covered for all 12 months" checkbox or the corresponding "Months of Coverage" checkbox. 

Resolution:

With TaxBandits, you can resolve the error and re-transmit it to the IRS.

Here is how you can resolve the error with Taxbandits,

• Log in to the TaxBandits account and click on the ACA on the menu.
• You will see the rejected forms, click "Fix Me" under Action, to fix errors and retransmit the form.

• It redirects you to the health coverage information section.
• Depending on the health coverage you’ve offered to the individual, check the “All 12 Months” checkbox or the corresponding  "Months of Coverage" for months ranging from January to December and click Save and Continue. 
• Review the completed form again and re-transmit your Form 1095-B.
