How to e-file Form 1095-C?

To e-file Form 1095-C with TaxBandits, follow the steps below,

• Click Start New>>Form from the dashboard.

• Under ACA & 5498 Form Series, select 1094-C/1095-C.

• Click File Form 1094-C/1095-C for 2022 to begin filing for the tax year 2022. If you like to file for the prior tax years, click “select a different tax year”.

• Enter the employer information and click “Save and Continue”.  If you’ve already filed a form in TaxBandits, your information will be automatically added to the address book, and you can easily pull it using the search bar and proceed with the filing.

• Choose the preferred method to add Form 1095-C information.

• Fill in the employee’s basic information if you choose the manually add IRS Form 1095-Cs method. 

• Enter the employee’s offer of coverage information. If you’ve provided self-insured coverage, then check the box in Part III and add each of the covered individual's information by clicking the Add covered individual button. Once done, click Save and Continue to proceed further.

• Preview the employee’s ACA information on Form 1095-C. If you like to add another employee’s 1095-C information, click Add another 1095-C Form.

• Complete the Form 1094-C information and click Save and Continue.

• Choose your preferred distribution method and click Continue.

   

• Review the order summary and click Pay and transmit the return to the IRS in order to pay for our service and transmit the return to the IRS.
