The  Ohio Department of Taxation mandates the filing of W2 Forms only if there is state tax withholding. TaxBandits supports the filing of Form W-2 with both the SSA and the State of Ohio. 

Note: The state does not require a Reconciliation form to be submitted when e-filing Form W-2.
 

What to be filed

Form W-2 - Wage and Tax Statements
Form IT-3 - Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements

Due Date

The due date to file Form W2 is March 02, and Form IT-3 with the State of Ohio is January 31.

Penalty

A penalty of $50 will be imposed for each month the return is filed late, up to a maximum of $500 dollars, even if the late-filed return results in a refund.

If you have withheld taxes, mail your Form W2 along with W-3 to the following address.

Using the U.S. Postal Service:

Using a carrier other than the U.S. Postal Service:
