IRS [Error Code: R0000-902-01]:
The taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted electronic return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return.

 Rejection Message:
The IRS already has a return approved for the EIN for the current tax year.

What does it mean:
The IRS has rejected your return because it is a duplicate of a previously submitted electronic return. You can not file more than one return for a year with the same EIN.

Resolution:
To resolve this error, check the previously submitted EIN. If it is found to be incorrect, correct it and retransmit it. If the EIN is correct and you haven’t filed any return for the current year, contact the IRS or your Tax Professional regarding the same.
