How to add employee information on W2 forms?

There are a couple of ways to add W2 forms for an employer.  One option is to manually enter each employee's W2 form information, while the other is to upload their W2 forms in bulk.

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: Navigate to the 1099/W2 Dashboard.

 

Step 3: Click 'Start New Form' and select 'Form W2.'

 

Step 4: Select the tax year for which you need to file the W2 form.

There are two ways to enter W-2 information. One is manual data entry, and the other is bulk upload. 

Manual Data Entry

We recommend this option when the count of employee W2 forms to file is low or you have bulk uploaded the forms earlier and want to add one or two W2 forms to the same order. The manual data entry flow lets you add W2 forms one by one. Then, if the employee is available in the address book, you can quickly pull up their details using the search bar and only have to fill in the federal and state information.

Import using Bulk Upload.

Navigate to the 'Bulk Import' option and choose what you want to upload.

• Employee data with form fields - Choose this option if you want to upload multiple recipients for the same payer, including amount fields.

Select an employer from the address book if it already exists or add a new payer.
