How to upload received IRS notices in TaxBandits?

Follow these steps to upload your IRS notices to TaxBandits:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account and navigate to ‘Tax Notices’ from the dashboard.

Step 2: Click ‘Get Started’ to begin uploading your notice.

Step 3: Upload the notice you have received from the IRS. Let the AI extract the payer and the notice details.

Once processed, you'll have the following details available.

• The purpose of the notice.
• Recommended next steps for compliance.
• The required response time.

Step 4: Preview the uploaded notice. Review the details and click ‘Edit’ if you need to update or add missing information.

Step 5: Follow the instructions to address the issue outlined in the notice promptly.

After Uploading:

• A summary of your uploaded IRS notice will be available in your dashboard. You can review it anytime and follow the recommended steps to respond. 

• Reminders are automatically scheduled based on the notice due date, and you can adjust these settings as needed.
