How to import Karbon data into the TaxBandits?

With Karbon integration, you can easily import payer details from your Karbon account directly into the TaxBandits Address Book, eliminating manual entry and speeding up your filing process.

Follow these steps to connect your Karbon account to TaxBandits:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: Navigate to Address Book from your Dashboard.


Step 3: Click ‘Import from Karbon’ to begin the integration.


Step 4: Enter your Karbon API key and the email address associated with your Karbon account. Then, click ‘Continue’ to proceed.

Where can I find my API access key? 

You can retrieve the Karbon API key in ‘Settings’ -> ‘Connected Apps’ -> TaxBandits. For more information, visit the Kabron Help Center
 


Step 5: Choose the types of contacts you’d like to import. You’ll see how many payers are associated with each type. Select your preferences and click ‘Save and Continue.’


Step 6: Select the payers you want to import from Karbon into your TaxBandits Address Book.
 

Note:

  • The first three contacts associated with each payer are selected as the primary contact. You can update this before import if needed.

  • If no contact is available, you can import the payer details now and add their contact person details later from the Address Book.
 


It may take a few minutes to import the data from your Karbon account. You’ll receive an email notification once the data import is complete. You can also track the import status from the address book.


Step 7: Review the summary of imported payer details. If any errors are found, you can fix them immediately or skip and resolve them later from the Address Book.
