How to customize a logo for the client portal?

Branding your client portal with your logo and messaging helps deliver a professional and personalized experience. 

Logo Upload

While you’re setting up the client portal in your TaxBandits account, you’ll be prompted to upload a logo that reflects your brand identity. Here are a few key things to keep in mind:

  • File Size Limit: The logo file must be 500 KB or smaller to ensure fast loading and smooth portal performance.

  • Accepted File Formats: We recommend PNG for high-quality transparency, but JPEG and SVG files are also supported.

  • Recommended Logo Size: Use a clear, high-resolution image that fits well across both desktop and mobile views. Avoid logos with very small text, as it may not display clearly in smaller spaces.

  • If no logo is uploaded, the first letter of your firm’s name will appear as a placeholder. For example, if your firm name is Bandit LLC, the placeholder will look like this.


     

Favicon Upload

You can also upload a favicon to customize how your portal appears in browser tabs, bookmarks, and shortcuts.

  • Resolution Requirement: Your favicon must be exactly 16 x 16 pixels. Larger images will not display correctly.

  • Accepted File Formats: ICO or PNG are supported.

  • Best Practice: Use a simplified version of your logo or a recognizable brand symbol for better visibility at small sizes.

Brand Message

Along with your visual branding, you have the option to add a short brand message that represents your firm’s mission or services.

  • Character Limit: Up to 200 characters

  • Example: "Your trusted partner for compliance and e-filing needs"

  • Placement: Your brand message will be displayed within your portal to reinforce your firm's identity.

    Example: “Your trusted partner in compliance and filing”
