When is the deadline to file Form 1099-QA?

The deadline for filing Form 1099-QA to the IRS is February 28 if filing on paper and March 31 if filing electronically. The deadline to provide a copy to the recipient (designated beneficiary) is January 31 of the year following the distribution.

Note: If this due date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the filing deadline will be on the following business day.
