What kind of errors can form validations identify?

Incorrect EIN or SSN formats: Ensures that the EIN and SSN are entered with the correct number of digits and format.

Missing information: Identifies any required fields that are left empty or incomplete.

Fields that don't meet specific conditions:
For example, in forms like Form 1099-NEC, certain errors can occur-
If fields such as Nonemployee compensation (Box 1) and Federal income tax withheld (Box 4) are left blank, errors will appear.

Federal income tax withheld (Box 4) should not be greater than Nonemployee compensation (Box 1).

If the values in these fields are the same or incorrect, validation errors will occur.
