Follow these minimal steps to customize your engagement letter template:
Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.
Step 2: Click "Start Reporting" on the BOIR welcome page.
Step 3: Navigate to the "Manage Clients" in the BOIR dashboard.
Step 4: Select the "All Leads" option in the "Manage Leads" section.
Step 5: Click on the "View" button next to the engagement letter template for customization.
Step 6: The default template will be shown with the terms and conditions. Click the "Customize" option to personalize the letter with your own terms and conditions.
Step 7: To unlock the customized engagement letter, you’ll need to make a payment. Click "Purchase Engagement Letter" to proceed.
Step 8: After completing the payment, you'll be redirected to the customization page. Here, you can modify the following sections in the engagement letter:
- Edit the introduction as needed, then click "Save".
- Specify the services and responsibilities you offer to your clients when filing the BOI report, then click "Save."
- Mention the confidentiality you maintain regarding your client's data and records, then click "Save."
- Customize your signature electronically and click "Save" to proceed.
Step 9: Preview your personalized engagement letter template. Edit it if necessary, or reset it to the default template. Ensure the letter is correct and click "Save Template."
The template will be created, and your clients will receive the customized engagement letter whenever you send it. You can update your terms and conditions at any time.
