Have questions? We've got you covered! What forms are used to File withholding returns in South Carolina?
Two important tax withholding returns are used for filing taxes in South Carolina they are:
- Form WH-1605 -SC Withholding Quarterly TaxReturn
You must complete form W4 for the first three quarters of the year.
- Form WH-1606- SC withholding Fourth Quarter and Annual Reconciliation Return
You must complete the WH-1606 if your South Carolina Withholding account was open for any portion of the year.
Note: Annual filers should only file the WH-1606. If you file Form WH-1605, don’t file Form WH-1605 for the fourth quarter. Instead, file Form 1606 for the fourth quarter.
