How to determine whether the reporting company has ceased to exist?

Determining when a reporting company ceases to exist is based on the legal requirements of the jurisdiction where the company was originally created or registered. Administrative dissolution or suspension (e.g., for failing to pay fees) does not mean the company ceases to exist unless the dissolution or suspension is permanent.
