What is FinCEN ID?

FinCEN ID is a unique Identification number provided to the Individual or reporting company by FinCEN.

Reporting companies may include FinCEN identifiers in their BOI report instead of providing certain required information about beneficial owners or company applicants.

It's important to note that obtaining a FinCEN ID is not compulsory for individuals or reporting companies. However, if obtained, each individual or reporting company will receive only one FinCEN identifier.
