TaxBandits has partnered with Sage to facilitate seamless e-filing of 1099 forms. Follow the steps below to import your 1099 information from Sage.
Step 1: Log in to your Sage account. Navigate to Subscriptions and enable Sage Cloud Services.
Step 2: Once Sage Cloud Services is turned ON, you will see the ‘Enable 1099 E-filing powered by TaxBandits’ option under Accounts Payable >>1099’s.
Step 3: Navigate to Accounts Payable > 1099s > 1099 e-file submissions and click Add to create a new 1099 batch for e-filing.
Step 4: Filter by Vendor, Entity, Location, or Form Type to create the batch, or select an Entity Group to generate separate Batch IDs for each entity or business. A pop-up window will display the summary of the vendor details. Once you verified, Click ‘E-File’.
Step 5: Upon successful creation, a Batch ID will be generated. When you click on the Batch ID, you will be redirected to TaxBandits.
Step 6: Before the data is imported, you will be asked to log in to TaxBandits and provide consent to share data from Sage to TaxBandits.
Step 7: TaxBandits will generate 1099 forms with your vendor and form information. You will have the option to Edit or Delete the forms inside TaxBandits.
Step 8: Review the 1099s, select the E-file services you require (Federal E-File, State E-File, Postal Mail, Online Access), and proceed to transmit them to the 1RS.
