What is an Aggregated ALE Group?

An Aggregated ALE Group is a group of employers that are treated as a single employer when filing their ACA Forms 1095

For example, you own three companies, Company A, Company B, and Company C. Company A is the parent of Company B and Company C. If all three companies combined have more than 50 full-time or full-time equivalent employees, then the IRS considers them to be an Aggregated ALE Group.

If you believe you're a member of an Aggregated ALE Group, Create a FREE account in TaxBandits, and file a separate Authoritative Transmittal for each company using its own EIN without any hassle. Here's how,

  • Select Yes against your Business Name.

  • Add the Names and EIN of other Aggregated ALE group Members to file a separate Authoritative Transmittal in regard to their own full-time and full-time equivalent employees.

This way, you can stay compliant with the IRS without any penalties.
