Are the corrections made on W-2c updated on the W-3?

Yes, when you make corrections to a W2 form, a new summary Form W-3 is generated. You are not required to file the W-3 when you are e-filing. However, TaxBandits will make the updated W-3 available in the Distribution Center for your records. 

Follow the steps below to view/download W-3c forms:

• Sign in to your TaxBandits account.
• From the Dashboard, click Distribution Center.
• Click 1099/W-2/1098/5498 Forms under Print Forms.

 

• Select the Tax year, Business Name, and Form type W-2c. Click View Forms. Employees with transmitted W-2c forms for this business will be displayed. Click Summary Form W-3c to download the form.
