Have questions? We've got you covered! When is the due date to file Form 945?
Employers are required to file Form 945 annually by January 31 of the following year to report the total amount of federal income tax withheld and any deposits made throughout the year. This form is important because it ensures that the correct amount of federal income tax is paid and credited to the appropriate taxpayer's account.
Note: If the Form 945 due date falls on a Federal holiday or weekend, the next business day will be the due date.
