Have questions? We've got you covered! What is Form 941 (sp)?
Starting in 2024 tax year, Form 941-SS and Form 941-PR will no longer be available. Employers in U.S. Territories (American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Puerto Rico must now report Federal Income, Social Security, Medicare, and FICA taxes using Form 941. If preferred, employers can report their taxes in Spanish using "Form 941 (SP)," the Spanish-language version of the Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return, which serves the same purpose as Form 941.
