Can I file Form 941 for previous years?

Yes! With TaxBandits, you can e-file Form 941 for up to two prior years. We currently support filing for the current tax year (2025) as well as the previous two years (2024 and 2023). Follow these steps to e-file Form 941 for a prior year:

Step 1: Sign in to TaxBandits.

Step 2: Click ‘Start New Forms’ on the dashboard, and choose ‘Form 941.’
 

 

Step 3: Enter the employer details manually or click ‘Select Employee from Address Book’ if you have already added the employer details.
 

 

Step 4: Choose the tax year and quarter you’re filing for based on your preference.


 

Step 5: Fill in all the required details and proceed to transmit your return.

Once your form has been successfully transmitted to the IRS, you can download it anytime from the ‘Print Forms.’
