What is the reporting agent PIN while filing 94x forms to the IRS?

The Reporting Agent PIN is a unique identifier the IRS assigns to the reporting agent. The reporting agent (a third-party entity authorized by the employer) includes their PIN while filing Forms 941, 940, 943, and 944 on behalf of employers to the IRS.  This, in turn, signifies that the reporting agent is authorized to submit the filings on behalf of the employer to the IRS.
