When is the deadline to file Form 1099-K?

Form 1099-K should be filed to the IRS based on the dates given below.

As a PSE, you should send the copy to the recipient or payee before January 31, 2024. 

• If you choose to file paper forms, the deadline is February 28, 2024.
• The electronic filing deadline is on April 1, 2024, the 2023 tax year.

 If the due date falls on a legal holiday or a weekend, the deadline is the next business day.
