What is the ‘Schedule Filing’ feature?

TaxBandits allows you to transmit your forms instantly or schedule them for a future date, up to January 25th. You can also reschedule the transmission anytime before January 25th.

You may edit your scheduled forms until 10:00 PM EST on the day before the scheduled transmission date.

What information can be edited in scheduled forms?

You will have the option to edit the following information:

• Recipient information

• Federal-specific fields

• State information

Note: Payer details cannot be edited after scheduling. To update payer information, please contact our support team.

Key points to remember

• You may enable additional distribution and/or validation services at any time before the scheduled date. However, you cannot remove services that have already been enabled.

• If State Filing is selected, forms will be transmitted to the state agency on the scheduled date.

• Postal Mailing Services will be processed on the scheduled date.

• Scheduled Filing does not apply to Online Access services; recipient copies will be sent once you pay the filing fee.

• If you have not scheduled the forms, they will be transmitted within 8 hours of submission. You can attempt to edit forms during this time, before they are sent to the respective federal and/or state agencies.
