How to verify my identity to transmit the returns to the IRS?

After you complete your return, you will be prompted to complete the identity verification. You need to begin this process within 15 minutes to successfully transmit your return to the IRS through TaxBandits.

Before you start, ensure you have a valid government-issued ID. When you’re ready, follow these steps:

• Click 'Get Verified' on the page where you are prompted to complete the verification.
• Enter your name and the type of government-issued ID you have. Then, click 'Verify.'
• Capture clear images of both the front and back of your ID.
• Take a real-time selfie as prompted.

Veriff will then begin the identity verification process. If successful, you will become a validated user, and your return will be transmitted to the IRS.
