Two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of security for your account. The IRS mandates that all software providers offer Two-Factor or Multi-Factor Authentication and that all users enable it to protect their accounts from unauthorized access.

If you still prefer to disable 2FA, follow the steps:

  • Step 1: Sign to your TaxBandits account.
  • Step 2: Click your ‘Profile’ on the dashboard and click ‘Two Factor Authentication.’

  • Step 3: Click the ‘Disable 2FA’ option located under Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

  • Step 4: A pop-up will appear to confirm your action. Agree to the consent and click ‘Disable 2FA’ to disable Two-Factor Authentication.

Note: You can re-enable Two-Factor Authentication at any time in your profile settings.
