How can I opt for postal mailing the form 1042-S copies?

You can opt for postal mailing the copies of Form 1042-S, before & after transmitting the forms. 

Follow the steps below to enable postal mailing services before transmitting the form to the agency. 

Step 1: Log into your Taxbandits account.

Step 2: Click ‘Start new form’, choose Form 1042-S under 1099 Forms - Federal & State filing, and click ‘File now’. 

Step 3: Choose Tax year and click ‘File Form 1042 - S’ to proceed.

Step 4: Click ‘Start Now’ under the manual entry option or bulk upload.

Step 5: Preview the uploaded Form 1042-S data and click ‘Continue to Proceed’.

Step 6: Fix the error if anything exists and Click ‘Continue Filing’ after fixing the error. 

Step 7: You can opt for any distribution services such as postal mailing and online access, if you wish to. Then, Click ‘Continue Filing’.

Step 8: Upon reviewing the details, proceed with the payment to complete the order. After the successful payment, you will be notified of the successful submission of the Form 1042-S.

 

Follow the steps below to enable postal mailing services before transmitting the form to the agency.

Step 1: Log into your Taxbandits account.

Step 2: Go to the distribution center on the dashboard and click ‘Postal mailing’.

Step 3: Select the employee/recipient you want to send the postal mailing and click ‘Create postal order’.

Note: The foreign addresses won’t be supported to opt for postal mailing. 

After enabling the postal order, you can check their status from the list of forms shown in the dashboard. Click the ‘View’ option for the required form and get to know its add-on status.
