How do I download the draft copies of my ACA 1095 forms?

Before transmitting the ACA forms to the IRS, you can download the draft copies and review each employee’s Form 1095 information. 

You can download the draft copies while preparing ACA forms or the In Progress ACA forms that you created earlier.

To download draft copies while preparing ACA forms, follow the below steps:

• Once you complete the form details, you will be navigated to the Summary page.

From there, click Draft PDFs.

• Click Generate Draft Copies to begin generating the file. 

• Once the draft PDF is ready for download, click Download under Action.

 

For downloading draft copies of In-progress ACA forms, follow the below steps:

• To download the draft copies of In-Progress forms, select ACA from the dashboard.
• Choose the Tax Year and Business Name. The list of transmitted and in-progress returns of the business for the selected tax year will be displayed. Click Draft PDFs next to the in-progress return.

• Click Generate Draft Copies to begin generating the file.

• Once the draft PDF is ready for download, click Download under Action.

Sometimes, it may take longer than usual to generate draft copies. You can either wait until the status changes to "Ready For Download" or click Refresh to get the updated status. You will also receive an email once the draft copy is ready for download. Note that the draft copy link will be available for 7 days only.
