When is the deadline to File Form W-2G?

The deadline can vary depending on the filing type:

• Distributing the copies of Form W-2G for the 2024 tax year can be January 31, 2025.
• If you choose to file Form W-2G on paper, the deadline is February 28, 2025.
• If you e-file your Form W-2G for the 2024 tax year, the deadline is March 31, 2025.

Note: If the deadline falls on weekends or legal holidays, the next business day will be considered the deadline.
