Once you finish providing all the necessary information in the 941-X form, you need to download, print and mail a paper copy of Form 941-X to the IRS.
To do so, follow the steps below:
- Click the 94x dashboard.
- From the 94x dashboard, click the All Returns tab and choose the Ready to Download button from the left of the screen to view the completed 941-X forms.
- To download it, click Download Forms under the Action column. This document will include Schedule B (Form 941) and Form 8974 if applicable.
Once downloaded, print and send your Form 941-X (all 5 Pages) to the IRS. If you are correcting Schedule B (Form 941) or Form 8974. attach them with your Form 941-X, and make sure to mail your Form 941-X on or before the due date to avoid penalties.
Note: You must mail Form 941-X to the address provided here to consider filing your return with the IRS.
