How do I edit the transmitted 1099 forms?

You can edit the transmitted 1099 forms only until January 05, 2024, when the IRS begins to process the forms. After this period, you cannot edit the transmitted forms.

Follow the steps below to edit the transmitted 1099 forms:

• Navigate to the 1099/W-2 Dashboard.
• Click Transmitted Forms to view the list of recipients.
• Click the Edit icon under Action, which allows you to edit the form.

Note: The Edit option will be available until January 05, 2024. If you don’t see the icon, it means the IRS e-file system has begun processing the form. You now need to wait until your form is accepted/rejected before you can void the form or file a correction. Also, please be informed that you cannot edit the transmitted 1099 forms.
